Biography

Burning Hatred comes from the east of Holland and started in the fall of 2002. After several line-up changes, a steady line-up was achieved in the end of 2004, with Martin (guitar), Rien (drums), Bram (bass) and Erik (vocals). Music was written and in the spring of 2005 a self-titled 4 track demo was recorded in the rehearsel room. Musically the demo was in the vein of early Unleashed, Grave, Entombed. Positive reactions where heard, bringing the band more shows in The Netherlands and Germany. A second guitarplayer was added to the line-up for more brutallity. Bram quit and was replaced by Edwin.

Before making new recordings, Erik was replaced by Arnold on the vocal spot. A new 3 track demo, called “Apocalypse Of The Dead”, was recorded in the beginning and released in the summer of 2007. It was praised by the underground press by givin' it very positive reviews and let them hunger for more. Before the end of the year their was a change again, Koen was brought in for the vocal duties. In the first month of 2008 two gigs were played with one of Sweden finest, Dismember. Later that year the band played as a support for Onslaught and shared the bill of an indoor festival with Vomitory and Obscura among others.

In the beginning of 2009 the end was almost near, 4 members left due too musical differences, time and study, leaving Martin the only member remaining. The search for a new line-up began and was found in the summer that year, with Gerben on drums, Steve on guitar and a new vocalist was found at the end of year, namely Anton "Tone". In the spring of 2010 the new line-up was completed with Bas on the bass.

The band has shared the stage with Dismember, Onslaught, Vomitory, Obscura, Desaster, Pentacle, Inhume and more alike. They have played on the Baggerfest (Metal Meltdown), Occultfest 2007 and at the Dynamo Warm Up Party 2005, Hub & Heuy Metalfest 2008, but also in venues like De Kade – Zaandam (nl), Vera - Groningen (nl), De Bosuil - Weert (nl) Gigant – Apeldoorn (nl) and in more Dutch and German venues.
